Got your samples in hand, or did you add products to your catalog and now you're ready to sell? Read on to learn how to make dropship products active.
Whether you've ordered samples to showcase in a live sale, or if you've skipped samples and simply added the product to your catalog, you will need to manually start your dropship allocation when you are ready to sell the product.
Remember, you only have your allocation for one week, so you want to make sure you're ready to promote the product when you start the allocation. If you ordered samples, we recommend you wait until you have received your samples to begin your allocation.
Start a Dropship Allocation for a Single Product
- Select Products in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Locate the dropship product you wish to start selling, and select the three-dot icon on the far right of the product row.
- Select Start Dropship Allocation from the options listed.
Start a Dropshop Allocation for Multiple Products
- Select Products in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Select the checkbox to the left of each dropship product you wish to start selling.
- At the top of the product listing, select the green Selected drop-down.
- Select Start Dropship Allocation from the options listed.
Once you start an allocation, you'll see the end date for your allocation beneath the SKU on the product row.
If you run low on your allocation or wish to replenish your inventory quantity, you can choose Restock Dropshop Allocation from the menus mentioned above. If your one-week dropship allocation window ends and you wish to start it again at a later date, select Start Dropship Allocation using the steps outlined above.
