Understanding the Charts
Note: The Product Pages show conversion rates for specific Product Detail Pages (PDPs) vs. for an overall website visitor or session. As a website visitor may visit multiple PDPs in a single session, the PDP-specific conversion rate tends to be lower than the overall conversion rate for the website visitor or session. |
The Web User Journey Flow insights tab features specialized visualizations that may not be immediately familiar. Here’s a breakdown of the key charts and how you can interpret them:
-

-
Product Pages - Conversion to Sales

-
Individual Product Traffic Overview
- Purpose: This chart provides detailed insights into the performance of individual products, showing how much traffic each product receives.
- How to Use: Compare traffic across products to determine which ones are performing well and which might need additional promotion or optimization. This data can guide decisions on inventory and marketing.
Following are the two variable you will come across in these charts:
- CTR: Click-through rate from a Product description page (PDP) measures the likelihood of a purchase after viewing the product page. It includes adding to cart (ATC) and completing the purchase (PFR), we measure the overall rate directly from PDP to purchase.
- Hits: Number of visits a specific product page receives. It represents how often a page is accessed, indicating overall user interaction with that page.
To make the most of these insights, regularly review these visualizations to spot trends, identify strengths, and uncover areas for improvement. By understanding how to interpret these unique charts, you can make data-driven decisions that enhance your website’s performance and ultimately drive more conversions.
