About Comment Charge

Comment Charge is the easiest checkout option for shoppers on Facebook. If your shop uses CS Payments or Stripe as a payment gateway, then your shoppers can instantly claim and pay for items by commenting "SOLD" on your Facebook posts and live sales. 

Comment Charge is available when using CS Payments or Stripe as a payment processor, allowing shoppers to save their card information to charge automatically. You'll need to set up CS Payments or connect your Stripe account before you can enable Comment Charge.

Once enabled, shoppers will need to activate Comment Charge on their account page before they can comment shop.

  Note: At this time, Comment Charge does not work with Instagram posts or stories.

  • Streamline the shopping process by offering a no-click checkout.
  • Allow shoppers to immediately grab items, which can drive the sense of urgency to purchase.
  • Decrease the number of abandoned carts and missed sales.

Enable Comment Charge

  1. Select Setup in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
  2. Under the Account Page column on the lower right side of the page, locate Comment Charge.
  3. Select the Disabled toggle so it appears Enabled.

What Your Shoppers Experience

Once you enable Comment Charge, your shoppers will see the option to activate it on their account page.
