Scheduled Sales Now Includes Unpublished Products

What Changed

Previously, only published products were included in Scheduled Sales due to a filter. That filter was removed to include all products selected for Scheduled Sales regardless of whether or not they’ve been published.

Where to Find It

This update is automatic, but you can view changes made by going to the Products tab and clicking “Price Adjustments” from the top. When you create a new Scheduled Sale or inspect a previously created scheduled sale from this list, all products you’ve selected for it will appear under “Selected Products”.

Retract Loyalty Credit When Refunding As Account Credits

What Changed

When processing a refund in account credit, you now have the ability to retract the dollar amount earned from the loyalty program.

Note: This only works when refunding individual items, not with bulk refunding.

Where to Find It

When you process a return from the Orders/Fulfillment tab, you will find the order you’d like to refund, then choose the option to “Refund as an Account Credit”. From here, you’ll see a popup that allows you to adjust the Refund Amount and the Loyalty Retraction Amount at the same time.

Where to Find It

Customer Login Error Messages

What Changed

Error messages will now appear for customers who are attempting to use the wrong login method, i.e., if they’ve previously logged in with Facebook, but are now attempting to log in using an email and password.

Where to Find It

This update does not require you to enable any settings. Error messages will appear automatically, based on whether or not CommentSold recognizes any part of the login attempt.

There are 3 error messages a customer can receive that will describe their potential issue:

  • “Sorry. There is a Facebook account associated with this email, but no password has been set. Please login with Facebook.”
  • “Sorry. There is no account registered with that email, but you can sign up to create one.
  • “The password you’ve provided is incorrect for this email.”

Why We Love It

Overall, this provides a less frustrating customer experience for cross platform customers. As a bonus, it help will prevent a build up of duplicate customer accounts for you to manage.
