Schedule Products to Collections

You can schedule products to appear in specific collections at a future date and time. This helps you plan product drops or organize when items go live in certain collections without manual updates.

What Scheduling Does

Scheduling a product allows you to set when it will be added to one or more collections. When the scheduled date and time arrive, the product automatically appears in the selected collection(s).

For products to show in the collection on the web:

• Published to webstore
• Should have webstore images
• The product should also have (at least one) active variant.

Schedule Individual Products to Collections

1. Select Products from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
2. Select the product you wish to schedule for a collection.
3. Scroll to Add To Collections section.
4. Select Schedule.
   • Name: Enter a name for the schedule.
   • Select From Date: Products will be added to the collection on the selected date and time.
   • Select To Date: Products will be removed from the collection on the selected date and time.
   • Collection: Select a collection from the drop-down.
   • Add Products to schedule:
     • Select +Add From Collection to add products from a collection.
     • Select +Add Products to select individual products.
   • Once done, select Create Schedule.

Schedule Bulk Products to Collections

1. Select Products from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
2. Select the checkbox beside the products you wish to schedule for a collection.
3. Select Schedule Bulk Products to Collection from the drop-down.
   • Name: Enter a name for the schedule.
   • Select From Date: Products will be added to the collection on the selected date and time.
   • Select To Date: Products will be removed from the collection on the selected date and time.
   • Collection: Select a collection from the drop-down.
   • Add Products to schedule:
     • Select +Add From Collection to add products from a collection.
     • Select +Add Products to select individual products.
   • Once done, select Create Schedule.

Create and Manage Scheduled Collections

1. Select Products from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
2. Select Scheduling and Price Adjustments.
3. Select the Scheduled Collection Products tab from the options listed at the top of the page.
   • Select the Three-dot icon for the following actions:
     • On products with Scheduled status: You can View/Edit or Cancel the scheduled collection.
     • On products with Completed status: You can View or Delete the scheduled collection.
   • Create New Scheduled Collection: 
     • Name: Enter a name for the schedule.
     • Select From Date: Products will be added to the collection on the selected date and time.
     • Select To Date: Products will be removed from the collection on the selected date and time.
     • Collection: Select a collection from the drop-down.
     • Add Products to schedule:
       • Select +Add From Collection to add products from a collection.
       • Select +Add Products to select individual products.
     • Once done, select Create Schedule.
