Bid History

The Bid History window provides detailed information about the auction, including:

The Bid History window displays:

  • Auction start and end times
  • Total runtime
  • Every bid placed during the auction
  • Bidder names
  • Bid amounts
  • Maximum bid values (when applicable)
  • Bid results, including whether a bid was outbid or became the leading bid

Understanding Bid History

The bid timeline shows the progression of bids throughout the auction and identifies the winning bidder at the conclusion of the auction.

If automatic bidding was used, the Max Bid (Private) column displays the bidder's maximum bid amount. The displayed bid price only increases as needed to maintain the leading position and may be lower than the bidder's maximum bid.
