Want to Improve Your SEO?

If you want to improve your SEO score, we recommend checking the SEO information you've entered for your various pages and collections. Here are some guidelines to help you out:

  • Identify a list of keywords. Keywords are search phrases that users enter in search engines to find the information or virtual destination they want. Your goal is to identify keywords that best represent your brand, content, and products, and include these keywords throughout your website so that, when searched, potential customers discover your website.
  • Optimize your page titles. Keep page titles below 70 characters and place keywords toward the beginning, if possible.
  • Write killer SEO descriptions. Tell people why they should click on your search result. Make your descriptions human-friendly and keep them in the 50-300 characters range. Include target keywords such as gold studs for women or non-tarnish hoops so people know the content is relevant to their search query.
  • Include keywords in headings and content. Visitors will stay on your gift guide, collections, and blog pages if they see their search terms there. Incorporate keywords naturally, prioritizing them in titles and section headers and then content blocks.
  • Avoid keyword stuffing. This is the act of adding all your keywords into a block of text or heading. Google can recognize this tactic and could lower your ranking because of it.
  • Don't neglect images and alt text. Work keywords into your image file names and alt text as search engines consider these when indexing your site. 14k-gold-hoops.png is more helpful than the default naming scheme your photo program uses.
  • Include keywords in your URLs. Include keywords in page URLs if they help describe page content. For example, /gold-jewelry-women or /nickel-free-jewelry.
