The latest CommentSold App update (Version 4.0) is here, and it marks some exciting changes! Our newly revamped UI and improved features are designed to make shopping and selling easier, more interactive, and simply enjoyable. Here's a detailed look at what’s changed.
New Features
Notification Center
The Notification Center is a brand-new feature that stores all your notifications for 30 days, making it easy to revisit important updates or offers anytime.

Variant Images
Easily assign images for each variant of a product to show the same item in different colors, patterns, or variations.

Hide Sold Out Products
Previously only available for the web, we're thrilled to announce the addition of our Hide Sold Out Products feature for the app.
When enabled, this feature will automatically hide sold-out products from your app, keeping your shop looking fresh and focused on what's available to buy. You can turn this feature under Mobile App > Settings.
Improvements and Updates
Checkout
The checkout experience now features a refreshed UI making it easier than ever to shop on the go. Plus, cart items are now displayed at the top, so shoppers can easily review, add, or remove products before completing their purchase.
Home Screen
The new Home Screen introduces several updates to improve usability and aesthetics.
What changed?
- Uniform Product Display: Products are now presented in a consistent grid format, replacing the staggered display from the previous version for a cleaner and more organized look.
- Clips: The Clips button has been given a slicker appearance that blends seamlessly with the overall interface.
- Updated Live Banner: The live shopping banner is redesigned with a vibrant and engaging look to capture attention and encourage interaction.
- Minor Adjustments in Layout: The Account section has been moved from the right side of the bottom menu bar to the top-left corner, aligning with a more logical placement and making navigation simpler.
Product Description Page
The new product description page introduces a range of improvements, enhancing usability and offering a more cohesive browsing experience.
What changed?
- Modern UI Design: The new layout is more intuitive and easy to read. It presents product details, pricing, and available options like sizes and colors in a visually appealing manner.
- Repositioned Buttons: Buttons like Add to Cart and Buy with Apple Pay have been strategically placed to optimize accessibility. Their placement aligns better with the natural flow of user interactions, reducing friction in the shopping process.
- Improved Accessibility: The view cart, add to favorites, and share buttons are now placed conveniently alongside the product, making them easily accessible for customers, offering a more immersive and intuitive shopping experience.
Live Experience
The live shopping experience has been refreshed with a more polished and modern look.
What changed?
- Cleaner Interface: The new UI features a sleek and organized design, making it easier for customers to engage during live sessions.
- End-of-Live Alerts: A friendly message now pops up when a live event ends, reminding your customers to complete their checkout, ensuring they don’t miss out on their favorite items.
- Revamped UI for Live Viewing and Replays: The interface for live viewing, commenting, and replay videos has been revamped with a modern design. While the core functionality remains unchanged, the updated look enhances the overall experience.
Login Page
The login experience has been significantly refined to improve usability and make the process smoother for both existing and new shoppers.
What changed?
- Skip Option for Convenience: Upon downloading and opening the app for the first time, users are greeted with a login prompt. Unlike the previous version, where this prompt appeared every time the app was opened, users can now skip the login and directly explore the app. This eliminates repeated interruptions and provides flexibility.
- Streamlined Login Experience: The new login interface retains the option to sign in via Facebook or Apple while featuring a cleaner, more cohesive design that makes logging in or signing up simple and user-friendly.
User Account
The Account page has been relocated from the bottom right to the top left corner, making it more accessible and improving the shopper’s journey.
What changed?
- Order History: This section includes your order history along with a new View Details tag, making it clear that the field is clickable.
- Settings: The Notifications page offers a clear layout for toggling preferences, making it easy for users to manage their settings.
- Links: This section offers access to links you have set up for your customers. Some popular links include your shop's Contact Us page, Returns Policy, Privacy Policy, and Facebook Page. Each link is clearly laid out to make navigation effortless for users.
Filter
The filter interface has been updated for a better browsing experience.
What changed?
- New Layout: Filters now appear as a half-screen overlay instead of a full-page view, making selections easier without leaving the main shopping screen.
- Improved Organization: Options like size and stock availability are arranged more clearly, allowing for quicker selections.
- Consistent Navigation: Once a filter is applied, users are redirected to the product page, where their selections remain visible.
Search
The search interface has been updated with a more structured layout while maintaining the same functionality.
What changed?
- New Search Result Display: The results page now explicitly states the search term along with the number of matching items, making it easier for users to understand their search results.
- Refined Filter Placement: The filter button has been repositioned for better accessibility, allowing users to refine their searches more easily.
- Same Search Process: Users can still enter keywords to find products, and search results continue to display items in a grid format.
Favorites
The Favorites section has been refined to offer a more customer friendly format..

- Updated Empty State Screen: Previously labeled "Browse Products," the action button now says "Explore Products."
- More Structured Display: Favorited products are now shown in a clearer grid format, improving visibility.
- Same Navigation Placement: The favorites icon remains in its usual position, keeping access unchanged.
Waitlist
The Waitlist section now has a more structured display.
What changed?
- Updated Empty State Screen: The message remains the same but now uses "Explore Products" instead of "Browse Products."
- Clearer Product Layout: Waitlisted items now appear in a structured way, making size, color, and preauthorization status easier to view.
- New UI for Item Removal: The removal confirmation screen now has a different look, but the process remains the same.
Order History
The Order History section is now easier to use and understand..

- New screen design for the Order History page to improve usability. Now, a View Details tag has been added, making it clear that the field is clickable. This enhancement ensures you can quickly access order details with ease.
Instagram Stories
If you've connected Instagram to your app, your Instagram Stories will appear in as a highlighted shop logo icon above the category tabs. This allows shoppers to easily view your latest IG stories directly within the app by clicking your logo above your collections, keeping them engaged with your brand.
