Every 6 to 12 months, Apple will update its legal terms for Apple Developer Accounts. Individuals and organizations with Apple Developer Accounts are responsible for accepting these updated terms. If account owners fail to accept the updated terms, they could experience performance issues with their mobile app (e.g., limited functionality, failure to load, etc.)
We walk through the process below of accepting these updates.
Accept Updates to Apple Developer Agreement
- Follow the link in your email or log into your Apple Developer Account at developer.apple.com.
- Enter your Apple account details and select Sign In.
- Select Review Agreement in the banner in the top-right corner of the page.
- Review the agreement and select the Terms and Agreement checkbox at the bottom of the pop-up.
- Select Submit in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up.
If you do not see the Review Agreement banner at the top, you can always go the agreement section and review the latest agreements.
- Follow the link in your email or log into your Apple Developer Account at developer.apple.com.
- Enter your Apple account details and select Sign In.
- Select Business under App Store Connect or Agreements from the options listed at the top.
- In the Agreements section, select View Agreement next to each listed agreement.
- In the dialog, review the terms and select Submit.
You'll know your agreements are all set if the Free AND Paid app agreements have a green dot and Active status in your Apple account.
