With Clips, you can link up to 5 products to a Clip and make the Clip shoppable. Clips will appear in your mobile app Clip feed with links to those products, and the Clip will also appear on the product page for the linked product(s).
However, you can choose to hide a Clip from appearing on a product page. This can be done by Clip and by product. We walk through your options below.
Hide a Specific Clip on Product Pages
Hiding a Clip from a product detail page is a great way to deliver an isolated Clips TikTok-like feed on your mobile app—an exclusive place where shopper can browse and shop your video content.
Alternatively, it could be that you want to upload a Clip that you simply do no want to appear on the product detail page (while you might choose to have other Clips appear).
Whatever your reason, this is something you can do when you upload a Clip or by editing a Clip.
- Enable the Exclude clip from a product description page toggle beneath the Clip preview.
- Select Save Clip in the top-right corner of the page. Popclip, Popclips, pop clip, popclips
Hide Clips for a Specific Product
If you have a product that you link in a Clip, but you don't want the Clip to appear on that product's detail page, you can hide it.
Note that this would apply to all Clips you've linked to this product. Essentially, no Clips will ever appear on this product's detail page.
- Select Products in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Locate and select the product you wish to edit.
- On the right side of the product record, locate the Additional Options section.
- Here you have two options:
- Select Exclude from displaying Clip on the website PDP to hide Clips on the product's website product page.
- Select Exclude from displaying Clip on the mobile app PDP to hide Clips on the product's mobile app product page.
- Select Update Product in the top-right corner of the page.
