Import Clips

Easily bring your existing videos into CommentSold and turn them into shoppable Clips. Whether you're importing from your social media accounts like Instagram and TikTok or using a direct video URL, CommentSold makes it simple to sync, review, and publish your content in just a few steps.

Before You Start Importing


Make sure your social media accounts are connected to your CommentSold account before getting started. 

Instagram

Import from Account


Import videos directly from your connected social media accounts. This option lets you sync, review, and manage your videos before publishing them as Clips.

 

  1. Select the Clips drop-down from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
  2. Select Import.
  3. If you have not already synced your Instagram reels with CommentSold, select Sync Videos.
  4. Publish Videos
    • Select the Video you wish to publish.
    • Modify the Clip Name and Clip Text (Optional) if required.
    • Select the Products you wish to link with the Clip and select Add Selected Products at the top right corner (Optional).
    • Enable the Allow Clips Comments and Reactions toggle if required.
    • Select the Display Options available to display the clip on PDP.
    • Once done, select Publish and Next.
  5. Approve Videos:
    • Select Approve All at the top right corner and confirm to approve all the videos at once. Or select Approve on individual videos.
  6. Reject Videos: 
    • Select Reject on individual videos.
  7. Repeat the same for all the videos.

Import from URL


Have a video link? Use the Import from URL option to add videos directly into CommentSold without needing a social media sync. This is perfect for uploading content hosted outside of Instagram or TikTok.

 

  1. Select the Clips drop-down from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
  2. Select Import.
  3. Select Import from URL at the top right corner.
  4. Paste the Video URL.
  5. Provide your consent for the video rights.
  6. Select Import Video.
  7. Publish Video
    • Modify the Clip Name and Clip Text (Optional) if required.
    • Select the Products you wish to link with the Clip and select Add Selected Products at the top right corner (Optional).
    • Enable the Allow Clips Comments and Reactions toggle if required.
    • Select the Display Options available to display the clip on PDP.
    • Once done, select Publish and Next.
  8. Approve Video:
    • Select Approve after modifying the details.
  9. Reject Video: 
    • Select Reject.
