Add an Image with Text Widget to a Website Page

Want your website to be well-designed, functional, and mobile-optimized? Add image with text widgets to your navigation for an immersive browsing experience!

An image with text widget captures a visitor's attention with its appealing design, combining imagery and key information. This enhances the website's look and makes navigation intuitive, guiding visitors easily to important sections or calls to action.

Adding an image with text widget has two steps:

1. Add an image with text widget to a page
2. Customize the widget
3. Publish the widget to your website and/or mobile app

Step 1: Add the Image with Text Widget to a Page

1. Hover over the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard, then select Site Creator.
2. Select Pages from the options listed at the top of the page.
3. Select the three-dot icon to the far right of the desired page.
4. Select Edit from the options listed.
5. Select +Add Section at the top of the list.
6. Select the Image with Text widget.

Step 2: Customize the Widget

1. Locate the Image with Text widget, then select the pencil icon on the right side of the widget row.
2. Customize widget layout, content, settings and linking. We detail these sections below.
3. Your site preview will update to reflect the changes to the widget. When you are satisfied, select Publish in the top-right corner of the Site Creator to save the widget.

Layout

Expand this section to select the desired layout.

Content

Expand this section to customize the content of the widget.

1. Select Upload to launch your Media Gallery. From here you can upload a new image, if desired. 
2. In the Title field, enter the name for the widget.
3. Enter a welcoming and eye-catching message in the Subheading field, if desired.
4. Enter a concise summary of the image in the Description field, if desired.
5. Select the Include Button toggle to add a call to action button in the widget.
   • Button Label. Enter the name for the button.
   • Button Link. Choose your link option:
     • Page. Use the drop-down to select an existing page or collection. You can also create a new collection by selecting + Create New Collection.
     • External Link. Enter the URL for the external link.

Settings

Expand this section to customize the background. You have two options to customize the background.

• Solid Color. Enter the code for the desired background color.
• Image. Select Upload to launch your Media Gallery. From here you can upload a new image, if desired. 

Linking

Enter an Anchor Name, this will create a unique URL to this section.

Step 3: Publish the Widget to Your Website and Mobile App

Once you customize the widget, you have the option to publish the widget to your Website, App or both. 

1. Hover over the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard, then select Site Creator.
2. Select Pages from the options listed at the top of the page.
3. Select the three-dot icon to the far right of the desired page.
4. Select Edit from the options listed.
5. Select the pencil icon on the right side of the desired widget row.
6. Scroll down to Show Section On and choose where you wish to publish this section. Options include All, Web, or App (website and mobile app).
7. Your site preview will update to reflect the changes to the widget. When you are satisfied, select Publish in the top-right corner of the Site Creator to save the widget.
