Brands & Products


Q. What brands do Ave Shops carry? 

A:  Corkys, Judy Blue, Dear Scarlett, Haptics, Sew in Love, Jady K. White Birch, One Eleven North, Andree By Unit, and more!

Q. How often does Ave Shops drop new products? 

A: New products will be synced to the CS Dropship catalog twice weekly:

  • Each Wednesday, Ave Shops will publish a new round of preorders and any new Judy Blue or Corkys styles available that week. These items are all available for you to promote to your shoppers immediately!
  • Each Thursday, Ave Shops will publish a large group of products that Premium Access shops can add and promote to shoppers. These products will be able to sell/purchase the following week. Release dates vary, so we recommend you check out the schedule here.

Q. ​​How do Monday Markdowns work within the CS Dropship Catalog? 

A: Ave Shops provides a list of Monday Markdown items on their website. They will mark down the cost of these products (what you pay for the product) a few minutes before the “Monday Markdowns” sale goes live. However, Ave Shops does not change the retail price of the product. If you wish to offer shoppers a discount on the product, you will need to edit the retail price of the product on the CommentSold product record.

Orders & Refunds


Q. What happens if Ave Shops can't fulfill an item on an order?

A:  If this happens, the Ave Shops team will notify the CS Support team who will reach out to you with the specific order and item details.

Q: Does Ave Shops accept returns?
A:  Like many dropship suppliers, Ave Shops does not accept returns (with the exception of damaged products). If you accept and refund an Ave Shops order, you can re-sell the product(s) as on-hand inventory.

Q. How does Ave Shops refund a shop?

A:  Ave Shops does not accept returns and does not issue refunds. However, if an order contains an out-of-stock item, then a refund is necessary. In this case, Ave Shops will notify CS Support. CS will issue a refund to your shop on behalf of Ave Shops, then you can issue the refund to the customer.

Q. How do I refund a customer for an Ave Shops item or order?

A:  You can issue the refund following the standard refund process in CommentSold. Our Support team will notify you of any orders or items that need to be refunded.

Q. What is an Ave Shops Pre-Order?

A: A pre-order is an item that isn’t stocked at Ave Shops’s Utah warehouse and will therefore require a special order from the vendor. Special orders are placed after the deadline specified in the product description. Products will ship to customers on the date or time frame specified in the product description.   Important: Do not edit the PREORDER in the product title or the pre-order deadline and shipping ETA in the product description. This information is crucial in helping set expectations with your customers. They will know they are purchasing a preorder product and will see when it will ship to them.

Shipping


Q. How does Ave Shops calculate shipping costs?

A: CommentSold’s API allows Ave Shops to set the shipping amount based on the package's weight. Ave Shops inputs the shipping charges via the API and those flow through to CommentSold. You can override shipping settings on your Dropship Settings page.

Q. Will Avenue Shops have the auto-combined shipping feature?

A: The ability for Ave Shops to auto-combine orders for shipping is coming soon! Stay tuned!

Q. How will Avenue Shops orders be addressed? Will it appear as my shop’s name or Ave Shops?

A:  Avenue shops will put your shop’s name name and address on both the packing slip and the shipping label.

Q. If a customer has dropship products in their cart, will it count toward the "Free Shipping" minimum for my shop?

A:  No, dropship products are not factored into the free shipping minimums defined by your shop.

Q. Does dropship trigger the free shipping window defined by my shop?

A:  If an order contains dropship items and a regular item, then yes. However if an order only contains a dropship product, then it will not trigger the free shipping window.

Shopify Transition/Migration 


Q. What happens to existing/published Ave Shops products now that Shopify has deprecated its Orders API for CommentSold as of June 14th?

A: Shops using Ave Shop (dropshipping) through Shopify do not have to manually re-add all their Ave Shops products in CS. We can migrate those products to their CS Dropship catalog for them. After migration, these orders will sync directly from CS to Ave Shops for fulfillment by the supplier. Learn how to initiate this sync here.

Q. How can I migrate my Ave Shops products to CommentSold?

A:  Follow the two steps outlined in this article, then let your Ave Shops rep know you’re ready to migrate.

Q. How does the migration work if I use Shopify x MSM x CommentSold (CS Dropship)? 

A: You will need to make sure that the Ave Shops products you sell on your Shopify website are in a different inventory location than the one MSM uses to sync products to CommentSold. This prevents syncing conflicts with CommentSold. Contact your Ave Shops rep for assistance with adding products to a different inventory location.
