Customer-specific coupons let you create personalized, one-time-use discount codes for selected customers. Use them to reward loyal customers, re-engage inactive customers, or offer targeted promotions.

Why Use Customer-Specific Coupons?
Customer-specific coupons can help you:
- Offer personalized discounts to selected customers.
- Reward loyal buyers or re-engage inactive customers.
- Run exclusive promotions for specific customer groups.
- Generate unique, one-time-use codes tied to individual customer accounts.
Create Customer-Specific Coupons
- Select Customers from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Filter or select the desired customers for whom you wish to create coupons.
- You can filter the customers based on Custom and Automated tags to include and exclude customers.
- Select Create Customer Coupons from the options listed at the top of the page.
- Coupon Type: Select the desired coupon type. email customers unique promo code
- Coupon Name: Enter a coupon name. The coupon name will be appended to a unique customer code.
- Coupon Expiration (optional): Specify the number of days the coupon will be valid. Leave blank for no expiration.
- Exclude Product Collections (optional): Select product collections to exclude from this coupon.
- Notify Customers by Email: Select the checkbox if you wish to notify these specific customers about the coupon via email.
- Select Create Coupons at the bottom right corner.
Each selected customer receives a unique discount code. If email notifications are enabled, the customer receives their code by email.
How Customers Use Their Coupon
Customer-specific coupon codes are tied to the customer's account and cannot be shared.
To use the coupon:
- Log in to the CommentSold account associated with the coupon.
- Add eligible products to the cart.
- Enter the unique coupon code at checkout.
Note: Guest checkout is not supported for customer-specific coupons.

- Select Coupons from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Select Customer Specific Coupon Batches from the options listed at the top.

Yes. Each selected customer receives a unique coupon code associated with their CommentSold account.

No. Customer-specific coupon codes are tied to the customer's account and cannot be shared with another customer.
Can customers use a customer-specific coupon as a guest?
No. Customers must log in to the CommentSold account associated with the coupon to redeem it. Guest checkout is not supported.
Can I set an expiration date for a customer-specific coupon?
Yes. When creating the coupon, enter the number of days the coupon should remain valid in Coupon Expiration. Leave the field blank if you do not want to set an expiration.
Can I exclude product collections from a customer-specific coupon?
Yes. You can select product collections to exclude when creating the coupon.
Can I email customers their unique coupon codes?
Yes. Select Notify Customers by Email when creating the coupons. Each selected customer will receive an email containing their unique discount code.
Can I add customers to a customer-specific coupon after it is created?
No. Customers cannot be added to a customer-specific coupon after the coupon has been created.
Where can I find customer-specific coupon batches?
Go to Coupons > Customer Specific Coupon Batches in your CommentSold dashboard. You can view the available batches and download customer details using the Download icon.
What information can I download for a customer-specific coupon batch?
Selecting the Download icon for a coupon batch lets you download the customer details associated with that batch.
