Learn how to change an order from local pickup to shipping and request a shipping payment from the customer when needed.
If a customer wants an order delivered instead of picking it up locally, you can change the order’s Delivery Method from Local Pickup to Shipping in CommentSold.
If the customer needs to pay a shipping fee, request payment before switching the delivery method.

Request Shipping Payment
If you would like to send a shipping fee payment request to the customer, you will need to do this before changing the Delivery Method to Shipping.
- Hover over the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard, then select Orders/Fulfillment.
- Hover over the desired order and select the eye icon in the right corner.
- Select the Request Shipping Payment button.
- Confirm the amount the customer will be billed.
- Select Request.
This sends an email with a clickable payment link to the customer. Once paid, you'll see the shipping line item in the order change from $0.00 to the amount paid.

- Select the blue Switch to Shipping button.
