The Coupons Report shows how shoppers use your coupons during a selected date range. Review coupon codes, redemption counts, discounts given, and sales after discounts to evaluate promotions and compare coupon performance.

When should you run a Coupons Report?
Run the report when you want to:
- Evaluate a promotion offered on one or more sales channels.
- Compare unique coupon codes advertised on different social platforms.
- Review coupon performance before making coupons inactive in CommentSold.
- See how often shoppers redeem a coupon and how much they save.
Run the Coupons Report
- Select Reporting in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Select Revenue from the report options listed at the top of the page.
- Define your Start Date and End Date in the fields provided, then select the Retrieve button.
- Scroll to Coupons drop-down and expand to view the report.
- Select Export CSV to download the report.
Examine the Report
- Coupon. Displays the name of the coupon code.
- First-Order Customer. Number of customers ordering for the first time.
- Uses. Displays the total number of times shoppers have redeemed the coupon.
- Discounts Given. Displays the total dollar amount that shoppers have saved with the coupon.
- Total Sales Less Discount. Displays the revenue generated from orders where shoppers applied the coupon code minus the discounted dollar amount.
See a coupon you don't recognize? It may have been generated by one of your marketing automation emails. These coupons are typically formatted with three random letters followed by a number assigned to the shopper who redeemed the code and the words FIRST or SAVE.

What date range does the Coupons Report show by default?
The report defaults to the current calendar day. You can change the Start Date and End Date, then select Retrieve to view another period.
Can I compare coupon codes used in different promotions?
Yes. If you used unique coupon codes for different promotions or social platforms, review their redemption counts, discounts, and sales after discounts for the relevant date range.
What does Number of Uses mean?
It is the total number of times shoppers redeemed the coupon during the selected date range.
What does Discounts Given mean?
It is the total dollar amount shoppers saved by redeeming the coupon during the selected date range.
What does Total Sales Less Discount mean?
It is the revenue generated from orders where shoppers applied the coupon, minus the discount amount.
Why is a coupon code in my report unfamiliar?
It may have been generated by a marketing automation email. These codes typically contain three random letters, a shopper-assigned number, and FIRST or SAVE.

Yes. Select a column heading to sort the report in ascending or descending order.
