Understanding Live Controls
| The camera and mic icons allow you to control the camera and mic for the host and guest. To meet ADA compliance, the mic icon will blink blue when someone speaks. | |

The red dot starts or ends the live stream. The rotate icon allows you to switch to another camera (if you have multiple cameras connected to the device). |

The arrow on the right will bring up a menu. The exit icon will allow you to logout. |

| The gear icon will allow you to select different camera and audio settings. | |
|
The layout icons change the positioning/appearance of the guest and host screens.
Hosts can preview the change in a pop-up screen before making the change live to customers. |

| The red dot icon in the top left corner of the picture window indicates which guests are live. | |
| The red X icon in the top right of the picture window allows the host to send a guest back to the “waiting room” or revoke their access to the live completely. |
Add A Product to a Product Selection During A Live Sale
| Note: This requires you to edit the product selection on both the Products tab and the Posts tab. |
- Select Products from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Find the desired Product Selection.
- Select the three dots on the right and select Edit Selection.
- Use the search bar in the choose other products to group section to find the SKU that needs to be added.
- Select the desired product and select Save.
- Select Posts from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Find the desired live sale in the Posts list.
- In the Link to Post column, select Edit.
- Use the search bar in the Choose Products section to find the SKU that needs to be added.
- Select the desired product.
- Scroll to the very bottom of the pop-up and select Update Live Post.
Product Identifier Behaviors
What is a product identifier?
This is a number assigned to products before or during live sales. This number is how customers on social platforms can claim the item.
- Products are assigned identifiers during the product selection creation process or when added during a live sale.
- Scanning a product more than once during a live sale will not change the identifier.
- We do not recommend using letters for identifiers as it can cause items to be carted incorrectly or accidentally.
Live Sale Reporting
Want to see detailed reporting on your live sale performance? You can view product performance, revenue, and viewership data for a specific live.
- Select Live from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Select the Live History tab.
- Select the name of the desired live sale.

Summary tab
- View the Length of your live sale
- Total Revenue generated during this live sale
- Revenue per Minute generated during this live sale
- Total Items Featured during this live sale
- Total Items Sold during this live sale
- Total Sell Through %
- Max Viewers during the live sale
- Total Messenger Live Notification Opt-Ins
Revenue Tab
- Total Revenue generated during this live sale
- Total Revenue generated from replays of this live sale
- Total Items Sold during this live sale
- Total Items Sold from replays of this live sale
- All of the above data by sales channel and device
Viewers Tab
- Total Average Viewers
- Total Max Viewers
- All of the above data by sales channel
Featured Products Section
- Which products were scanned/clicked during the live
- What time each item was scanned/clicked during the live
- Total revenue by product
- Total quantity sold by product
- % of Total Available Inventory sold by product
Download Live Replays
Live sales that are over 30 days old cannot be downloaded.
To download a live sale that is less than 30 days old:
- Go to the Live tab.
- Select the Live History tab.
- Select the three dots on the right of the sale.
- Select Download.
