Need to get your business set up to accept returns? Learn which return settings you should enable before your first sale down below!
Your return settings allow you to configure key components of your return and exchange process. For example, from your Return Setup page, you can make changes to the return policy viewable to your shoppers.
It's important to provide a detailed policy regarding how long a customer has to return a product, what products cannot be returned, and whether or not refunds will be processed to the original form of payment (as opposed to issuing store credit).
You can also create return reasons that your team can use to categorize returns. Example reasons include Defective, Item Didn't Fit, or Poor Quality. These reasons appear in the Return Reasons section of your Main Reports Overview and can help your team spot trends in returns.
