Export Products
You have two options when exporting products from CommentSold: export individual products in bulk and export an entire collection.
- Select Products in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Adjust the number of items shown on a page using the Show Entries drop-down at the top of the product listing. This allows you to view all the products you wish to export on one page.
- Select the checkbox to the right of each item you wish to export.
- At the top of the product listing, select the Selected drop-down.
- Select Export Products to CSV, then select your preferences:
- For Cost. Choose Use Product Cost or Use Product Price. If you are a wholesaler exporting products for a shop, you may want to select product price.
- For Quantity. Choose Use Quantity or Skip this Field. If you want to show the quantities you have in stock on the CSV file, choose Use Quantity.
- Select Export.
- Select Products in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Select Filters at the top of the product listing.
- In the pop-up, select In Collection.
- Locate the Collections drop-down, select the collection(s) you wish to export in the Collections dropdown, then select Apply.
- Adjust the number of items shown on a page using the Show Entries drop-down at the top of the product listing. This allows you to view all the products you wish to export on one page. Only products on the current page will be exported.
- At the top of the product listing, select the Select All checkbox, then select the Selected drop-down.
- Select Export Products to CSV, then select your preferences:
- For Cost. Choose Use Product Cost or Use Product Price. If you are a wholesaler exporting products for a shop, you may want to select product price.
- For Quantity. Choose Use Quantity or Skip this Field. If you want to show the quantities you have in stock on the CSV file, choose Use Quantity.
If you wish to view exported files, select View Exported Files in the top-right corner of the page.
CSV Converter
The CSV Converter helps you quickly reformat product CSV files so they’re compatible with different product screen versions in CommentSold.
You can use it to convert:
Shopify → CS New Product Screens
Shopify → CS Old Product Screens
CS New Product Screens → CS Old Product Screens
CS Old Product Screens → CS New Product Screens
This tool ensures your product data matches the correct format before importing into CommentSold.
Before You Get Started
You must make a copy of the CSV Converter file before using it.
Open the CSV Converter link provided above.
Click File in the top-left corner.
Select Make a copy.
Save the file to your own Google Drive.
You will not be able to edit or convert files unless you are working from your own copy.
