Issue Return Shipping Label

You can complete returns and refund the customer for the product, for the shipping, and also issue a return label if you would like the customer to return the item to you at no cost to them. 

Note: A better alternative for managing returns and refunds is using our Redo integration, which provides a seamless customer experience and automates much of the returns process.

Issue Return Shipping Label


  1. Select Orders/Fulfilment from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
  2. Hover over the desired order and select the Return arrow.
  3. Check the boxes next to the products you wish to make a return label for.
  4. Select Issue Return Label from the dropdown menu at the top of the product.
  5. A label creation window will appear. Fill it with weight and dimensions like normal when creating a shipping label.
  6. Select Create Label and then purchase it by selecting OK.
  7. After the label has been purchased, you will see a confirmation in green showing the tracking number and referring to the section added below that will have buttons for emailing, refunding, and viewing the return label.
    • Select the Email button to send the label to the customer, along with a note.
    • Select the View link to just view the label.
    • Select the Refund button to refund the return label. 

When the return label is refunded, you get a green confirmation, and the return section no longer shows the return label afterwards. 

You can see a record of refunded return labels under Setup > My Invoices > View Credit History tab.
