If you use My Ship Manager (MSM), you can now automatically mark synced products as Final Sale based on Shopify product tags, eliminating the need to include Final Sale in the product title.
What’s Changing
Previously, CommentSold automatically marked a synced product as Final Sale only if its title contained the words “Final Sale”. With this enhancement, the sync process now also detects Shopify product tags that include variations of “Final Sale”.
How It Works
When a product syncs from Shopify:
- CommentSold checks Shopify product tags for any version of “Final Sale”.
- Detection is not case sensitive or format sensitive. We recommend choosing one of the following:
- final sale
- FINAL-SALE
- final_sale_item
- Tags that do not include both words “Final” and “Sale” (e.g., Finals Sale) will not trigger the setting.
If a Final Sale tag is detected, CommentSold automatically applies your Final Sale settings, based on what you’ve configured in CommentSold. Learn more about these settings here.
These settings determine whether:
- “Final Sale” is added to the product title, or
- A Final Sale note appears in the product description.
- If you’ve enabled Seel Make It Returnable, shoppers can purchase a Worry-Free Return option on Final Sale items (optional).
