Set up Seel Return Management

Step 1: Create Seel Merchant Account

1. Select Setup from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
2. Select More Integration from the options listed at the top of the page.
3. Select the Create Seel Merchant button. 

This creates your Seel merchant account.

Step 2: Set up Seel Return Management

1. Select the Setup Return Management button.
2. Fill in the onboarding form:
   • Enter your Organization Name.
   • Enter your Legal Business Name for the invoice.
   • Enter Primary Contact Name.
   • Enter Primary Email.
   • Enter Primary Phone Number.
   • Enter your complete address details.
3. Select Next. You will be redirected to the Seel dashboard.
4. Select the Enable Return Management button. 

This sends Commentsold a webhook, which checks your eligibility to enable the Seel Return management. 

To verify your eligibility, log in to your CommentSold account and refresh the Seel Return Management page.

• If you see the Enabled tag on the Seel Returns Management page, you are eligible.
• If the Enabled tag does not appear, you are not eligible at this time.

You may be ineligible for the following reasons:

• Redo Returns is turned on in your account.
• Avalara is not set up in your account.

Enable Force Returns in Seel

Turn on Force Returns in Seel to ensure all returns are processed exclusively through Seel. When enabled, return buttons on the Orders page will be disabled, helping you maintain a consistent and streamlined returns workflow.

1. Select Setup from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
2. Select More Integration from the options listed at the top of the page.
3. Enable Force Returns in Seel toggle under Seel Return Management. 

Disable Seel Return Management

Disable Seel Return Management if you no longer want to process returns through Seel. Once disabled, your standard return options will become available again within CommentSold.

1. Select Setup from the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
2. Select More Integration from the options listed at the top of the page.
3. Select Disable under Seel Return Management.
