The CommentSold Admin App is the mobile app for shop admins that lets you manage your live sales and basic product content directly from your phone or tablet.

Before you Begin
Make sure you have:
- A CommentSold account.
- The Use Broadcast App and Manage Products permissions in CommentSold.
- A supported device:
- iOS 16.0 or later
- Android 7.0 or later
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled for your account.

Install the App
iPhone or iPad (iOS)
If you already use the CommentSold Broadcast app, it will update automatically through the App Store. You do not need to install a separate app.
Android
Android users must install the new CommentSold Admin App from the Google Play Store.
| Important: The new app cannot update the old Broadcast app on Android. You'll need to download and install the new app separately. |

Start A Live Sale
The app gives you two ways to start a live.
- Option 1: Quick Live. Use Quick Live when you want to start a live sale quickly with minimal setup.

- Option 2: Broadcast. Use Broadcast for your regular live selling workflow.
From the Broadcast screen, you can start your stream and manage your live session.
Manage Your Live While Broadcasting
Using the Quick Live option, you can manage your broadcast without leaving the app.

While using Quick Live, you can:

You can edit product media directly from the app.
From the Product Detail Page (PDP), you can:

Troubleshooting and FAQs
I can't sign in
- Make sure you're using your existing CommentSold admin account.
- Verify that MFA is enabled in your web admin.
- Complete the MFA verification when prompted.
The app says I need to update
The Admin App includes a minimum supported version. If your version is too old, you'll be prompted to update before continuing.
I'm using Android and don't see the update
The new Admin App is a separate installation on Android. Download the latest version from the Google Play Store instead of updating the old Broadcast app.
Does this replace the Broadcast app?
Yes. The CommentSold Admin App replaces the previous CommentSold Broadcast app.
Can I manage all product settings from the app?
No. The app currently supports managing product images and videos. Use the web admin for all other product settings.
Can I read customer comments while I'm live?
Yes. Live comments appear in real time during your broadcast.
Can I see how many people are watching?
Yes. The app displays a live viewer count throughout your broadcast.
Do I need MFA to use the app?
Yes. Multi-factor authentication is required when signing into the CommentSold Admin App.
