Split Orders into Multiple Shipments


For Manual Fulfillment For Scanner-based Fulfillment

 

  1. Select Orders and Fulfillment in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
  2. Scroll, use the search field, or filters to find the order you want to split.
  3. Hover your mouse on the right side of the order and select the Eye icon.
    • This will expand the order details to show the items and additional settings.
  4. Select the Partial Fulfillment button.
  5. Check the Received checkbox on the right side of the items you would like to ship together.
  6. Select the Split to New Order button.
  7. A pop-up will appear. Select to Confirm

This will create a new order that you can manage separately from the original order.

Orders Not Syncing to Avalara

Having trouble?

Here are some common questions and resolutions.

  • How will I know these orders were split from a single order?
    • The orders will show a Split Order indicator and have a clickable link to the associated order. 

 

  • How does the customer know their order has been split?
    • The shopper will see tracking numbers per item so that they know which items are in which package. Your shoppers will also be sent dispatch emails by package instead of by order.
