Fulfill orders in CommentSold using a barcode scanner to verify each product, purchase the shipping label, and automatically mark the order as fulfilled. Scanner-based fulfillment requires CommentSold Shipping, CommentSold barcodes on products, and a compatible barcode scanner.
Before You Get Started
To use the Fulfillment tab for scanner-based fulfillment:
- You must use CommentSold Shipping.
- All products you want to scan must have CommentSold barcodes.
- You must have a barcode scanner to scan the packing slip and products.
- If you use FlexLabels, make sure the packaging you plan to use has a scannable barcode.

Fulfilling Orders Using A Scanner
- Hover over the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard, then select Fulfillment.
- Scan a packing slip for an order.
- You will see the order number listed under Orders. Along the bottom of the screen, you will see the products in order.

Scan the barcode for each of the products in the order.
- As correct items are scanned, the box showing product details will turn green to confirm that it has been scanned.
- Select the green Purchase Label button. (If you are using FlexLabels, scan the barcode for the packaging you would like to use.)
- In the pop-up, select the green Confirm Purchase button.
Your purchased shipping label will appear on the screen for you to print, and the order status will change to Fulfilled.

What happens after I purchase the shipping label?
The shipping label appears on the screen for printing, and the order status changes to Fulfilled.
