How do I block a customer in CommentSold?
You can block a customer from the Customers page in your CommentSold dashboard. Blocking prevents the customer from adding items to their cart, completing checkout, and joining live sales through the CommentSold mobile app.

When you block a customer, they are unable to:
- Add items to their cart
- Complete the checkout process
- Join live sales on your mobile app
Block a Customer
- Select Customers in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Locate the customer you wish to block and select the three-dot icon to the right of their name.
- Select Block Customer from the drop-down.
- On the pop-up, select Confirm to confirm your action.
Once you block a customer, a crossed-out icon will appear over their profile picture on your Customers page. You'll also see a Yes in the Customer's table column Blocked?
Alternative to Blocking a Customer
If you do not wish to fully block a shopper from shopping with you, then CommentSold offers you the ability to ignore a shopper's SOLD comments.
With Ignore SOLD Comments, customers can still purchase from your mobile app and webstore, but would not be able to claim items via comments. This is useful if do not have First Paid First Served enabled and have a customer who frequently claims products via posts and live sales but does not complete the checkout process.
- Select Customers in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Locate the customer you wish to ignore and select the three-dot icon to the right of their name.
- Select Ignore Sold Comments from the drop-down.
- On the pop-up, select Confirm to confirm your action.

When should I use Ignore SOLD Comments instead of blocking a customer?
Use Ignore SOLD Comments when you want a customer to continue shopping but prevent them from claiming products through comments, such as when they repeatedly claim items but do not complete checkout.
Can a blocked customer still shop through CommentSold?
No. A blocked customer cannot add items to their cart or complete the checkout process.
Can I unblock a customer after blocking them?
Yes. After a customer is blocked, the customer action changes to Unblock Customer, allowing you to restore their ability to shop with your business.
Can I reverse Ignore SOLD Comments?
Yes. After enabling Ignore SOLD Comments, the action changes to Unignore SOLD Comments, allowing CommentSold to resume processing the customer's SOLD comments.
