To add a Dropship product to your CommentSold inventory, open Dropship, select the product you want, choose Add Product to Product Tab, and confirm. The product is then added to your Products page, where you can edit its details and publish it to your website, mobile app, Facebook, Instagram, or other supported sales channels.
Once added, you can publish these products to your mobile app and website, and share them on your social accounts. You can also feature dropship products in your live and short-form content. Learn how you can purchase product samples here.

Add a Dropship Product to Your Inventory
- Select Dropship in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Locate and select the product for which you wish to add to your inventory.
- Scroll and select Add Product to Product Tab.
- On the confirmation pop-up, select Yes, add to my catalog.
- You will see a confirmation message in the top-right corner of the page.
- Navigate directly to the product record for the product by selecting View Product in the top-right corner of the page. There you can make changes to the product name and description, if desired.
Add Dropship Products to Your Inventory in Bulk
- Select Dropship in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Locate and select the Collection with products which you wish to add to your inventory.
- Select or deselect the Products in the collection. Note that all the products in the collection are selected by default.
- Select Add Product to Product Tab.
Publish Your Dropship Products
Once you're ready to sell the dropship product, you will need to publish or post the product to each sales channel where you plan to sell it (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, your mobile app, etc.).
- Select Products in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Locate the dropship product you wish to publish, then select the three-dot icon to the far right of the product row.
- Select the sales channel where you wish to publish/post the product:
- Post to Facebook. Craft a Facebook post from within CommentSold and schedule the post for immediate or future posting. Learn more options for posting products to Facebook here.
- Post to Instagram. Craft an Instagram post from within CommentSold and schedule the post for immediate or future posting. Learn more options for posting products to Facebook here.
- Post to App. Craft an in-app post and push notification for immediate or future posting. Learn more options for posting products to your mobile app here.
- Post to Webstore. Immediately publish the product to your website. You can also manage website publication settings on the product record.

What happens when I add a Dropship product to my inventory?
CommentSold creates a new product record on your Products page and copies the product's details, images, and other available information. You can then edit the product and publish it to your desired sales channels.
Do Dropship products automatically publish to my website or mobile app?
No. Adding a Dropship product to your inventory does not automatically publish it to your website, mobile app, Facebook, Instagram, or other sales channels. You must publish the product to each channel where you want to sell it.
Can I edit a Dropship product after adding it to my inventory?
Yes. After adding the product, select View Product to open its product record. You can make changes such as editing the product name and description.
How do I identify Dropship products in my Products tab?
CommentSold Dropship products have a green Dropship tag displayed beneath the SKU.
Are Dropship products First Paid, First Served?
Yes. All Dropship products are treated as First Paid, First Served, regardless of your shop's setting. The customer who completes checkout first secures the product.
Do I need a sample before adding a Dropship product to my inventory?
No. You can add a Dropship product directly to your inventory without purchasing a sample. Samples are optional.
What permission is required to add Dropship products?
Team members need the View the Dropship Catalog permission on their team profile to access this feature.
