You can manage your CommentSold payment methods by setting a default payment method, adding a backup payment method, or changing the payment method used for specific payment categories. You can add a credit card or US bank account as a payment method.
If you don't select a specific payment method for a payment category, CommentSold uses your default payment method.

Set Default Payment Method
Your default payment method is used for CommentSold fees when you haven't selected a different payment method for a specific payment category. You can use a card or US bank account as your default payment method.
- Select Setup in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Select Accounts from the options listed at the top of the page.
- Select Manage payments from the sub-options listed at the top of the page.
- Select Change on the Default Payment Method section.
- Select if you wish to add Card or US Bank Account details.
- If using a US Bank Account, you can click the Enter Details Manually link or choose the tile associated with your bank to connect via login.
- Once done, select Save Details at the bottom right corner.
Add Backup Payment Method
A backup payment method is automatically used if your default payment method fails, such as when a card is expired or there aren't sufficient funds available.
- Select Setup in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Select Accounts from the options listed at the top of the page.
- Select Manage payments from the sub-options listed at the top of the page.
- Select the green Add Backup Payment Method button.
- Select if you wish to add Card or US Bank Account details.
- If using a US Bank Account, you can click the Enter Details Manually link or choose the tile associated with your bank to connect via login.
- Once done, select Save Details at the bottom right corner.
Change Payment Method
You can change the payment method assigned to an individual payment category without changing your default payment method.
- Select Setup in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
- Select Accounts from the options listed at the top of the page.
- Select Manage payments from the sub-options listed at the top of the page.
- Select Change Method in the right corner of the Payment Category you wish to change.
- Select if you wish to add Card or US Bank Account details.
- If using a US Bank Account, you can click the Enter Details Manually link or choose the tile associated with your bank to connect via login.
- Once done, select Save Details at the bottom right corner.
Steps for Adding a US Bank Account
You can add a US bank account either by entering your bank details manually or by connecting to your bank through the available login option.

Yes. Visa prepaid debit cards are accepted as a payment method as long as they don't require a PIN to complete the purchase.
Why can't I set my backup credit card as my default payment method?
A payment method can't be both your default and backup payment method. If the credit card you're trying to set as your default is already saved as your backup payment method, you must use a different card or remove it as the backup first.
Why can't I delete my backup credit card when my bank account is my default payment method?
A credit card backup payment method is required when your bank account is your default payment method. You must change your default payment method before you can delete the backup card.
How do I make my existing backup credit card my default payment method?
You can't use the same card as both your default and backup payment method. Delete your default bank account first. Your backup credit card will then automatically become your default payment method.
How do I change my default payment method?
Go to Setup > Accounts > Manage payments, then select Change in the Default Payment Method section. Select Card or US Bank Account, enter or connect your payment details, and select Save Details.
