Manage Your Payments

Choose your preferred payment method for each type of service charge to control how your shop handles financial transactions. If no specific option is set, your default payment method will be used for these fees. shipping costs, 

Set Default Payment Method

1. Select Setup in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
2. Select Accounts from the options listed at the top of the page.
3. Select Manage payments from the sub-options listed at the top of the page.
4. Select Change on the Default Payment Method section. subscription payments, payment management
5. Select if you wish to add Card or US Bank Account details.
6. Once done, select Save Details at the bottom right corner. dropship payments, 

Add Backup Payment Method

If your default payment method fails (e.g., due to an expired card or insufficient funds), your backup payment method will automatically be used to complete the transaction. This ensures uninterrupted payment processing. payment setup, preferred payment method,

4. Select the green Add Backup Payment Method button. commission fees,

6. Once done, select Save Details at the bottom right corner.

Change Payment Method

1. Select Setup in the side menu of your CommentSold dashboard.
2. Select Accounts from the options listed at the top of the page.
3. Select Manage payments from the sub-options listed at the top of the page.
4. Select Change Method in the right corner of the Payment Category you wish to change.
5. Select if you wish to add Card or US Bank Account details.
6. Once done, select Save Details at the bottom right corner.

FAQs

Can I use a prepaid credit card to for payments?
Yes. Prepaid credit cards are accepted as a payment method.

Will my prepaid credit card be saved to my account for future use?
No. Prepaid credit cards will not appear in your saved cards list. You’ll need to enter the full card details each time you make a purchase.

Are there any fees for using a prepaid credit card?
Yes. Prepaid credit cards are subject to surcharge fees.

Can I use a prepaid debit card to make a purchase?
Yes. Visa prepaid debit cards are accepted as a payment method as long as they do not require a pin number to complete the purchase. 

Why can’t I set my backup credit card as my default primary payment method?
Primary and backup payment methods cannot be the same. If you attempt to replace your bank account with a credit card that is already saved as a backup, you will receive an error.

Why can’t I delete my backup credit card when ACH (bank account) is set as my default?
A credit card backup is required when your bank account is your default payment method. For this reason, you won’t be able to delete your backup card until you change your default method.

How do I make my existing backup credit card my default payment method?
You can’t set the same card as both your default and backup payment method. Instead, delete your default bank account first. Once deleted, your backup credit card will automatically move into the primary position as your new default payment method
