Checkout Conversion Insights

Want to understand how your checkout conversions are performing across your app and webstore?

Your Checkout Conversion Insights tab helps you track conversion rates and identify which products and collections are performing best. With this data, you can optimize your collections, refine your product mix, and make improvements that drive higher checkout completion.

Checkout Conversion Insight Data Sets


Your Checkout Conversion Insights tab houses three main levels of data: 

  • Overall Checkout Conversion Rate
  • Product-Level Conversion
  • Collection-Level Conversion

Data in this dashboard is available starting September 1, 2025, and requires App version 3.13 or newer. It does not include checkouts for Pre-Authorization or Split Orders.

A session is defined as a shopping activity period that ends after 30 minutes of inactivity on the App or at midnight CT on the Webstore. All dates are reported in Central Time.

Overall Checkout Conversion Rate

This section gives you a big-picture view of how your checkout conversions are performing across both your app and webstore. You can filter the data by date range to analyze performance trends over time. Android and iOS labels on the bottom axis can be clicked to filter for one platform at a time.

 

Data Point Description
App Checkout Conversion Rate Percentage of sessions from your app that resulted in a checkout.
Webstore Checkout Conversion Rate Percentage of sessions from your webstore that resulted in a checkout.
Sessions Sessions are activities on the app or web.
Checkouts Total number of completed checkouts.

Product Level Checkout Conversion Rate

This section helps you measure checkout conversions for specific products. All charts in this section can be filtered by date, sku, brand, category, and product type using the filters at the top of the page. 

 

Data Point Description
Product Level Checkout Conversion Rate The checkout conversion rate for the selected product within the app or webstore. This metric measures how many sessions with a visit to the product detail page (PDP) convert to a checkout for that specific product.

Collection Level Checkout Conversion Rate

This section highlights how your checkout conversions perform at the collection level, helping you identify which groups of products are converting best. All charts in this section can be filtered by date and collection using the filters at the top of the page.

 

 

Data Point Description
Collection Checkout Conversion The checkout conversion rate for the selected collection within the app or webstore. This metric measures how many sessions with a visit to the collection page convert to a checkout for an item in that collection.

Access Your Checkout Conversion Insights Tab


 

  1. From your CommentSold dashboard, select Insights in the side menu.
  2. At the top of the page, select Checkout Conversion.

View and Export Data


You can interact with your Checkout Conversion Insights data the same way as other Insights tabs:

Filters

 

  • Date filters apply to all levels (Overall, Product, and Collection).
  • Product filters apply only to the Product-Level Checkout Conversion Rate.
  • Collection filters apply only to the Collection-Level Checkout Conversion Rate.

Three-dot Menu Options

  • Download data: Export the data set as a .CSV file.
  • Autosize all columns: Automatically resize all columns to fit content.
  • Reset all column widths: Restore columns to default widths.
  • View: Expand the data set to a larger display.
  • Clear cache & refresh: Refresh to bring in updated data.
